When I enables gitlab pages access control I got a scary warning! Authorize GitLab Pages to use your account?

You are an admin, which means granting access to GitLab Pages will allow them to interact with GitLab as an admin as well. Proceed with caution.
Should I be worried about this warning?
Is not Gitlab pages provided by Gitlab ?
BTW: I have a self-hosted Gitlab.
