File schema.rb modified after installation

Our daily "debsums" run complains about a checksum mismatch at /opt/gitlab/embedded/service/gitlab-rails/db/schema.rb

Changes of packaged files are discouraged. Is the file change necessary? Would it be possible to move the updated file to another location to not overwrite the shipped one?
