This is a chance to get a different set of eyes on Service Desk from within Support.
Beyond dogfooding though, there are some other advantages to filtering these into a GitLab project.
By using a specialized form that feeds into GitLab Service Desk we can easily collect all incoming inquiries into a single area, group requests and do support out of GitLab. These requests are not strictly SLA bound, and any scripting or other autowork can use GitLab.
