Workspace weekly status (async)

🌮 Description

We have been updating in MRs, Issues, and Slack throughout this project and the productivity 🚀 🚀 🚀 🚀 has been inspiring, but the transparency has been difficult to follow. Because we are a distributed team, we'll post updates asynchronously using this thread and verbalize them on a weekly call.

1. Find or start a new thread for a given week
2. Post a status update asynchronously using this format:

- (example) Added 5 more issues to Phase 1 for X, Y, Z
- (example) Merged A and B

### Current focus
- (example) Focused on Issue A - hoping to complete this week
