Which right sidebar components are most commonly used? (Issues)

The ~Plan team is interested in understanding which components of the right issues sidebar are most frequently interacted with. ux-research#134 (closed).

Do we have any data related to this sidebar, @tszuromi? If not, is there a way for us to start tracking usage?

This information would help us figure out which of the following should be our next step:

  • Take a look at which sidebar components are most commonly used and remove those that are rarely used. Those components can go elsewhere on the issue page.

  • Make the sidebar somewhat customizable - for example, an option to remove time tracking https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab-ce/issues/26131
