How to upgrade the gitlab-runner operator in openshift cluster

During the upgrade of openshift-cluster from 4.8 to 4.9 we are getting below warning

Cluster operator operator-lifecycle-manager should not be upgraded between minor versions: ClusterServiceVersions blocking cluster upgrade: gitlab-runner-operator.v1.3.0 is incompatible with OpenShift minor versions greater than 4.8

Subscription details are

Update channel:- stable

Update approval:- automatic

Still gitlab-runner operator did not upgraded automatically.

In update channel it is showing gitlab-runner-operator.v1.9.0
