Explore custom dashboards solutions for Security Dashboards
Problem to solve
Today our security dashboards (Group Level) are static as we only offer a limited set of features and charts. As we grow and expand on the feature and chart offerings, we need to consider how the user wants to interact with them and if different user levels require different metrics.
Target audience
- Dev/ops Engineers
- Security Analysts
- Security Team Managers
- Security Director's
- CISO's:
Further details
Reports need to be shareable. Ideally, there is a way to let users without normal edit or access permissions to the Security Dashboard still view the reports.
It should be simple and easy to duplicate a given report from one project and/or group to another. Duplicating the reports between Security Dashboards means the report fields and layout are the same but the data will use that of the associated project or group.
Proposal
Explore a customizable dashboard where users can select what data they want to see and how they want to see it.
What does success look like, and how can we measure that?

- Customizable dashboards will be explored by the Runner Fleet team (PD:

) in FY25 with the addition of AI.- Their team plans to look into using an AI prompt that would allow users to add new widgets to the dashboard, in addition to custom ones.
- Erika Feldman did some initial research on how the team could use AI to optimize runner performance here: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1XL0pm_akNinM9eZd0Q1MCTG92bCHHAGCll5LwAVevoU/edit?usp=sharing
