Browse external projects from GitLab
Crazy idea, but as we look to have GitLab be the one application you use for complete DevOps, we need to recognize that the majority of open source projects still live on GitHub. Rather than forcing a developer to bounce between GitHub and GitLab, what if we let people do everything they need from within GitLab itself?
Now, what would this actually mean. It might mean browsing projects, perhaps viewing issues and merge/pull requests. I'm stopping short of saying we should put a completely skinned experience on the GitHub API...
For that matter, if I have a self-hosted instance of GitLab, how about letting me use projects on GitLab.com? It's easier to imagine blending self-hosted with .com in a seamless experience.
