Project Runners: Add labels to unlabeled concepts and/or helper text to expand on Runner sub-concepts.

Problem to solve

As described here: gitlab-design#664 (closed)

In the existing GitLab experience, certain Runner specific concepts like tags, IDs and Runner addresses are not explained or properly labeled. Users have to figure out the meaning of this information and its usage/role in the context of setting or managing a Runner.

We should improve the labeling of concepts within the Runner settings. We should add labels to clearly identify tags and IDs so users can understand the meaning of that information. In certain cases, we might need to add some kind of helper text to increase the context/understanding of sub-concepts like tags.

Intended users

Personas are described at https://about.gitlab.com/handbook/marketing/product-marketing/roles-personas/

Further details

Proposal

Add additional text to the description underneath Runners project settings section header.

How do runners pick up jobs?

Runners are either:

  • active Available to run jobs.
  • paused Not available to run jobs.

Tags control which types of jobs a runner can handle. By tagging a runner, you make sure shared runners only handle the jobs they are equipped to run.
