Inline images in comments break scrolling
It seems images are loaded asynchronously, but the place they occupy is not preserved after inlining, thus when one opens link like this one:
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/evolution/issues/139#note_333868
then it's greeted with properly highlighted comment, but as soon as the images are loaded the scroll doesn't update, thus the result is that the comment is highlighted, but out of the current view. This URL had been copied from a "View it on GitLab" link in a notification email, thus you might get an idea what the expectation is.
A proper web developer habit, I've been told years ago, is to specify image size (width/height) in the HTML code, which, apart of other things, avoids such scrolling issues, screen flashing and similar. I've been even told that one can recognize a good web developer when he/she declares image sizes in the HTML code.
It's just an anecdote evidence. I've no idea what is and what isn't possible in GitLab.
