On upgrade 10.1.4 to 10.2.2, sort order on group page defaults to 'last created', and 'last updated' is inaccurate
Summary
The default view under groups lists projects by 'last created' now instead of 'last updated'. If you select 'last updated', it's not accurate.
If you go to the starting page with 'Your Projects' this does default to 'last updated' and the sort order is also correct.
I noticed you can also no longer sort by name. I don't care about that of course, but the drop-down is different. I suspect whatever code provides those 2 different dropdowns is the problem now.
Steps to reproduce
upgrade 10.1.4 to 10.2.2 - look at default views.
What is the current bug behavior?
- Default on group is now "last created"
- That default says it's "last created" -but it is really sorting by name
- If selecting "last updated" or any other option, it is inaccurate
What is the expected correct behavior?
Default to 'last created' on a group, and sort accurately.
Relevant logs and/or screenshots
- This is the default view, that sort order is defaulting to last updated, and it's accurate
- This is the default view when picking 'group' - it is 'last created', which is mostly useless for me. But even if it were useful, it is not sorting by last project created, this is by name. Switch to 'oldest created' and back to 'last created' and you get a different order (not by name), but still incorrect.
- Selecting 'last updated', this is inaccurate (compare to 1)
In summary, inside of 'group' you can click those various dropdowns for sorting, and they are pointless.
