Multi-select-move issues in boards
Problem
On a board, you can only move on issue at a time. This can be painful for larger teams that move issues at the same time between milestones or stages in their software development lifecycle. As a user, I'd love the ability to move multiple issues at the same time.
Description
When using the issues board, I sometime get on a roll and just use the quick add and add tons of issues all at once. Many of them need to be assigned to the same person. When an issue is selected, the details are shown in a popover on the right side of the screen that allows you to assign the task, add labels, etc.
It would be nice to be able to select multiple issues at a time.
Proposal
I would like to be able to cmd (or ctrl) + click or shift+click to select multiple. I imagine this working just as any list that allows multiple selection. The popover on the right would show the title as 3 selected
, then show the common attributes for the all the issues selected, empty for the attributes which have yet to bet, or mixed for the attributes which differ between issues.
Use cases
This would allow people to move multiple issues at a time across the board. It would also allow them to quickly add labels or assignments to multiple issues straight from the issues board.
Feature checklist
Make sure these are completed before closing the issue, with a link to the relevant commit.
