Change page redirect when deleting projects from namespace
Description
When I delete a project from Gitlab via the UI on the web, on success, I am taken to https://gitlab.example.com/dashboard/projects
.
In almost all cases of when I click on a project, I am clicking on it from a namespace (a group). For example, I often want to delete a few projects from the same group or namespace. In order to do that I first go to the namespace, then I click on the project to delete, then I delete it, and I am taken back to my dashboard. So I must click on 'Groups', choose the group again, then click on the next project in the group to delete. This series of clicks is still easier than finding the next project to delete from the long list of projects in my dashboard.
It would be better if I were taken back to the same page I used to click on the project to delete it.
In most all cases when a user is working in a namespace, the end user will want to continue working in that namespace even after they have deleted a project from the namespace. Under this condition they will have to navigate back to the namespace to continue their work after deletion of the project.
I feel it would be more intuitive that I am taken to my project dashboard after I delete a project, only from the case that I initiated the deletion through the dashboard, and not from the case that I initiated the deletion through the namespace.
Proposal
If deleting a project through https://gitlab.example.com/namespace
, redirect back to https://gitlab.example.com/namespace
.
If deleting a project from the https://gitlab.example.com/dashboard/projects
page, redirect to https://gitlab.example.com/dashboard/projects
.
