Override group permission per project

Suppose I have a project owned by the group, but I want to override permission level for some members (example some members in group must not access to that repo). I understand that creating separate group will solve that problem, but it would be more comfortable to override permissions per project instead of creating separate permission in each case.

P.S. I have tried to add the same developer as member for the project with more restricted permissions, but it doesn't affect anything.
