According to their [EOL policy](https://www.elastic.co/support/eol), they may not provide support for 7.x. So, we may also drop Elasticsearch 7.x as supported Elasticsearch versions in GitLab deployment. ## What to do - [ ] Create a deprecation notice in release post in GitLab release N. - [ ] Create a removal of support in release post in GitLab release N+2. - [ ] Update [Elasticsearch integration](https://docs.gitlab.com/integration/advanced_search/elasticsearch/) documentation accordingly ## References - [Deprecation process](https://docs.gitlab.com/development/deprecation_guidelines/#when-can-a-feature-be-deprecated) - [Drop Elasticsearch 6.x support](https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab/-/issues/350275)
