I have personally read every message in this issue, and I genuinely appreciate the time you've taken to provide detailed feedback about the navigation changes. I want to acknowledge that this transition has been challenging for some of you, and your concerns are valid. While the data showed a low opt-out rate (\<1%), I recognize that metrics don't capture the full picture of how changes impact individual workflows and preferences. For those who preferred the previous UI, I understand if this wasn't the outcome you hoped for. The new UI is now the standard experience moving forward. This decision wasn't made lightly, and maintaining two parallel UI structures long-term would significantly impact our ability to iterate and improve GitLab for everyone.
