### Problem to solve Watching a ticket with hundreds of replies, with the only goal of being notified when the ticket is resolved, is impossible right now and results in a lot of notification spam. ### Intended users Everyone ### Further details Take a look at https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab/issues/26001, which I've been trying to follow for several weeks. There are 39 participants and a decent amount of replies around the implementation. However, the only thing I'm interested in is the final rollout/resolution - and there should be a way to only get notified of status changes. Some other tickets are even worse as they contain even more chatter. Many bug trackers suffer from this - for example, this is a major reason why I don't star bugs on Google's bug trackers anymore (such as the Android bug tracker) - the amount of comment spam is insane. ### Proposal Implement a toggle here that would only notify on status updates (or just ticket completion, if the team decides that's better UX):  Thank you. ### Links / references
