Expose new users to the devops stage groups during onboarding
We recently received the following feedback from @sytses: > UX should explore user flows, improve existing UX to be more intuitive/seamless. Example: user registration > email > logion > steps… how can we continuously iterate the experience? > UX should be answering the question: How can we convert people from using the version control to using the CI? > Sid also raised the idea/suggestion to structure the application’s menu in the dev/ops lifecycle (there’s probably an issue open about that). I immediately thought about the initial splash page new users see when they first log in. This is an excellent place to offer a self-guided onboarding experience to users based around the DevOps stage groups. As part of onboarding, we should give users a way to come back to this screen for guidance. ![welcome-to-gitlab](/uploads/42bdd0671b4c7ce56c2c8e715b96cf21/welcome-to-gitlab.png) cc/ @jeremy @matejlatin @cperessini @akaemmerle
