Feature Request: Jenkins-style navigation between projects

I really miss the Jenkins-style navigation where I can hover over a portion of the top-level menu and select another menu item at that same level. For example, if I am at "aws (Group) -> lambda_enrollyear (Project) -> CI / CD Settings (Menu Item)", I would like to hover over "lambda_enrollyear" and see a dropdown menu of other projects within the "aws" Group, and then select one, and land on the same Menu Item in that project structure. Attaching a MS Paint mock-up of what I'm looking for. ![Capture](https://gitlab.com/gitlab-com/account-management/accenture-ccp/uploads/e83551d74b23f1fcaf3f68123fa0e789/Capture.PNG)
