While we are looking to optimize export/import and reduce the size by [limiting project history](https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab/-/issues/39168), there are cases where the users just want to migrate forward open and active work and leave anything that's closed behind, which would reduce the size of their export. ## Solution Provide an option to not export any closed objects.
