Currently shortcuts don't work unless you don't have focus on a textfield or textarea. However the first few focus items for a page is usually the search textarea. If we make them use <kbd>Ctrl</kbd>+ <kbd>somekey</kbd> then it should work in textareas. I want to be completely mouse free. cc @JobV @iamphill @dzaporozhets @lbennett
