This basic information we would ask of the project (in project settings?) 1. boolean looking for contributors 2. multiselect languages in codebase (Could be done through heuristics like github does or just ask) 3. single select a label that marks tickets good for new developers There would then be a new subpage under projects that calls basic information on these projects and some example issues you could grab. Bonus if its searchable. *** Concrete example would be gitlab marks itself as looking and selects ruby and javascript, the label you would select is up-for-grabs.
