Ability to hide Backlog / Closed columns on boards
Problem to solve
We primarily work using boards (Software kanban)
To us, Backlog is a dropbox for isses that are not yet well groomed, Developers should not really have to deal with un-groomed stories and their board should have the column either collapsed by default or ideally hidden altogether.
Likewise any issue that makes it past the Backlog column should only really be easily closeable after deployment.
Further details
Currently the collapsed settings on columns are per user and not per project, and there is no way to hide these 2 columns on particular boards.
The benefit of being able to remove these columns is to remove noise from relevant roles and relegate it to those who need to deal with it.
Proposal
Allow the project owner to hide Backlog and Closed columns on any project board they wish.
What does success look like, and how can we measure that?
I can make boards that do not contain the backlog and closed columns.
