Contributor analytics in Activity for a particular user.

Contribution analytics grid

• How do you get the contribution grid (Activity) populated with contribution data in the Gitlab profile page for a particular user? Like for a particular day in the year, the user has 2 contributions, shown as "small blue grids".
• Would appreciate if someone can point me towards the source code in Gitlab which generates that!
