Improve information density of epic issues
Problem to solve
Listing issues that are part of an epic is important, but the current representation is so visually ineffective that I prefer to create a meta issue with a list of issues. I have separate suggestions for checklist handling, but this issue is specifically about the information density; the content, organization, and visual design around the list.
Further details
A markdown list is fairly compact.
The Issues list of Epics ways up significantly more space and is organized in such a way that it is actually harder to understand. When trying to understand the list, the project and issue number are not important. The whitespace and border treatment is not important. The X icon is not important. And the state icons are confusing (mentioned elsehwere).
Proposal
What does success look like, and how can we measure that?
(If no way to measure success, link to an issue that will implement a way to measure this)
