Metrics dashboard UX issues with multiple series

There seems to be an issue with our performance dashboard on series that are incomplete.

For example I made a custom metric which tracks metrics across both a stable and canary deployment. Unfortunately I can't mouse over any part of the chart where there is only the stable series, and not the canary series:

There is another issue as well, when the series returns we attempt to connect the gap which is incorrect. There is actually no data below for the canary, and so it should be blank. Instead there is a long diagonal line connecting the end and beginning of the series.

It's also worth noting that the flag intercepts your mouseover as well.
