Support resolving an open decision with a custom answer, with and without options
What
Allow users to resolve an open decision by submitting their own custom answer, for both:
- Open-ended decisions (no options provided), and
- Decisions with selectable options, where the user does not accept any of the existing options.
In both cases, the user's input should be stored as a new custom option that becomes the single selected option, and any existing options should be deselected (rejected). This mirrors flows we already support on the backend.
How
- On resolving a decision, accept the entered text as a new custom option.
- Set
selected: falseon all existing options and add the new option withselected: true. - This matches the existing manual-creation flow (which already adds a custom option automatically) and the edit flow in #630642 (closed).
