Add merge request widget to personal homepage

Context

Most personal homepage views do not result in an interaction with the page. Growth in interested in driving engagement with this page, as it has the potential to drive Growth metrics.

Problem to solve

Users need to understand the status of work-in-flight (MRs, pipelines, sessions...)

Users monitor the status through manual work such as: triaging emails, keeping various tabs open to check from time-to-time, and navigating to different places in the product.

Proposal

Add MR widget to the personal homepage:

• Allows users to shift from a manual checking of different things to a central place to see the status of work they triggered at a glance.
• The first steps to test the hypothesis that the homepage should be central place to monitor work-in-flight (more details: video 3:45 - 7:00, vision prototype)

Implementation notes

• Figma is the design SSOT, implementation notes live there:
  • "Assigned to you" tab
  • "Review requests" tab
  • Load more MRs on the personal homepage
  • Loading, empty states, error states
  • Page reflow
• Working prototype (for interaction reference only)

Evidence

• 26% of interactions on the personal homepage are the user clicking into the merge requests detail page
• 6/6 participants requested seeing MRs on homepage (solution validation)
• 10/12 requested MRs on the homepage (diary study)
