Slack Custom Actions for Messages
Description
Slack apps can register custom actions that allow users to do things with messages (similar to adding a reaction). For example, a user could quickly create an issue based on a conversation.
Actions are more intuitive than slash commands and do not require users to memorize/reference slash commands every time they wish to issue a command.
Proposal
As MVC we could add a "create GitLab issue" action and build upon that
