Group-specific Content
Description
We use the group page as our "home" page to navigate through to the active merge requests (three click from anywhere) - this has been our workaround for the mis-features of top navigation items not working as expected (merge requests only showing those that are explicitly assigned to me, when we have group based reviews)
It would be nice to have some group content beyond the limited name and description for example the build status of all the projects in the group
Proposal
The description of the group is limited to 255 characters, so there is little option there of adding useful information
A group-based readme (markdown based) would be great - possible serving multiple uses
It should be displayed in-line below the group name and description and above the project list
While on the page it should would be nice to allow control over how the project list is paginated, I have two pages of projects and only one project on the second page. Guess what project I'm actively working on...
