Performance degradation for GLQL views

Problem

GLQL views currently seem to take an average of 10 seconds to load, example: UX Current Work

Potential root cause

A first idea was brought up by @dgruzd that this might be due to something being broken in the GLQL <-> Advanced Search area, which would make it fall back to slow PostgreSQL.
