Duo Code Review should support consistent language localization, allowing teams to configure reviews to be performed in their preferred language (e.g., Japanese) across all review outputs including inline comments and summary comments.
Problem to solve
Duo Code Review does not consistently respect language preferences:
- Inline review comments - Custom instructions to perform reviews in Japanese are unstable and produce inconsistent results
- Summary comments - Do not respect custom instructions at all and always default to English
This creates a fragmented experience where parts of the review may appear in the configured language while other parts remain in English.
