Docs: Evaluate standard topic titles used in application security testing pages

  • Start this issue's title with Docs: or Docs feedback:.

Problem to solve

Most of the top-level topic titles in the application security testing docs pages were standardized in a project that reviewed and restructured them all. However, some of those titles may be in contradiction of the GitLab docs style guide.

Further details

An example page is https://docs.gitlab.com/user/application_security/container_scanning/, and standardized topic titles include:

  • Getting started
  • Understanding the results
  • Optimization
  • Roll out
  • Configuration
  • Offline environment

The idea of using standardized titles was that consistent structure and titles would make it easier for users to find the infomation they need, across all the AST pages. However, these titles are generic, not specific. Also, they may contravene the GitLab docs style guidance on topic titles.

Proposal

Review these titles and agree on the naming convention to be used. If that's different from the current titles, edit the titles to match.
