license-exporter release job fails to find license-group-server image
Overview
The release job in the license-exporter pipeline fails with:
Error response from daemon: manifest for registry.gitlab.com/gitlab-org/security-products/license-db/license-exporter/license-group-server:<COMMIT_SHA> not found: manifest unknown: manifest unknownThis occurs even though the build license group image job succeeded and pushed the image earlier.
(The delete_image job was skipped,as expected when release fails, so the image wasn't deleted prematurely)
Impact
- Release pipeline fails
- The
license-group-serverimage is not tagged and pushed. - Manual intervention is required to tag and push the image
