Narrative Tutorial: GitLab Crash-course for non-developers
Our team has had some difficulty onboarding team members to GitLab who have no software development background but who need to perform actions like editing files, filing issues, and writing merge requests. While GitLab has some excellent tutorials and reference documentation, one thing that seemed missing was a 'narrative structure' approach to contextualize the why behind the what and the how.
A draft of a narrative crash-course guide is available here. We feel this narrative tutorial complements other learning resources as a starting point and makes it easier to pick up other topics afterward, and would like to see it integrated into GitLab's official documentation.
If this approach looks good, we're happy to turn this into a proper merge request against the documentation.
