Repository Browser Breadcrumbs hiding

When i'm browsing files/folders in repository the path breadcrumbs sometimes decide to auto-collapse into a menu. This is quite frustrating as it makes navigation harder and easier to lose track etc.

This is gitlab hosted, both Firefox and Chrome on Linux X11
