Add ability to expand directory tree without rendering content

Problem to Solve

When navigating with the file tree, selecting a directory causes the main content window to reload with the contents of that directory. Currently, there is no way to navigate the nested directories of the file tree without clicking through each parent directory first.

Proposal

Add a toggle next to directories that allows the directory to be expanded without actually navigating into the directory.
