Incorrect approval status showing on merge request homepage

I have two MRs, each of them only updates a documentation .md file in the same folder. When I open them, the approval widget says Approval is optional for both, but in my Merge requests page, one MR says Ready to merge while the other one 2 approvals required. Where does this discrepancy come from? 🤔 Both of them target master.

• MR1: !208629 (merged)
  • Status: Ready to merge
• MR2: !208499 (merged)
  • Status: 2 approvals required

User refreshed the MR homepage but nothing changed. User mentioned that the only difference between the two MRs is that the approver has commented on one of them (where the approvals show as required). The other one hasn't been reviewed yet.
