GLQL Query with Scoped Labels that contain emojis before and after the :: delimitator does not work
Summary
In Gitlab, scoped labels can contain emojis at any point of the label string. For example
🌐Network::❗Operational Failureis a valid label that works throughout the gitlab features. However, in a GLQL query like
query: label=~"🌐Network::❗Operational Failure"
display: tablewill not work. A label that contains emojis only before the :: delimitator but not after
🌐Network::Successwill work. There may be more emoji cases I haven't found yet, but at least this bug was found.
Steps to reproduce
- Create scoped labels containing filters
- Assign them to issues, MRs, etc. to be able to search
- Make a simple QLQL - should return nothing
- Make an experiment to remove emojis after the ::
- Edit and Rerun GLQL - should return
