Background

There is a feedback from Improve Zoekt Documentation (gitlab-org/search-team/team-tasks#249 - closed) that Zoekt UI tends to throw a generic "syntax error" message when having networking issues

Proposal

We may want to check the places where the error message is generated and replace the generic error message with more specific messages.
