[Reminder] Deadline for new Marketplace Connect apps

Last day September 16 September 16, 2025 is the last day new Connect apps may be submitted to the Marketplace, and starting September 17, 2025, new Connect apps will no longer be accepted. This milestone completes Phase 1 of the Connect end of support timeline.

After September 16, 2025, we will enter the notice period for Phase 2, which will prevent Marketplace apps with a Connect descriptor from being updated and block the installation of private Connect apps via > Connected apps. The effective date for Phase 2 will be March 31, 2026. To prepare for Connect end of support, partners should wind down the release of new functionality built on Connect and migrate existing apps to Forge. Scenario: we are using Jira Cloud and Gitlab self managed, connected through a self deployed Gitlab Jira Connect app in the Jira marketplace (was the prefered way, when we started to connect both tools a few years back).

I couln't find any infos on this in docs or issues. Are there any plans to move/update the Jira integration for gitlab?
