Steps

  1. Create a new project
  2. Enable "Pipeline Secret Detection"
  3. Enable "Validity checks"

  1. Edit the readme file and add a secret. Example: gitlab-org/govern/threat-insights-demos/verify-validity-refresh-check@1767ff45

  2. Run a successful pipeline

  3. Go to the vulnerability report and click on the vulnerability "GitLab personal access token"

  4. Click on "retry"

  5. You will see the error
