Link to project not working when gitlab hosted in subpath after upgrade to 18.2

Summary

After upgrade to 18.2 the links from the home page to the projects are not working any more. The subpath is omitted from the url, leading to a "page not found" when clicking on these.

This is the 3rd bug report related to subpath issues in the last 2 releases. Are there no automated tests for hosting gitlab in a subpath. It seems that with each new release something else is broken related to subpath handling.

Steps to reproduce

• Host gitlab in a subpath
• Log in, click on the gitlab icon top left (home page)
• Click on any available project in the list provided, error 404 since the subpath is omitted from the link
