Pipelines in the gitlab-renovate-fork group are failing

Problem

Pipelines in the gitlab-renovate-fork or more specifically its project gitlab are currently failing. It looks like pipelines run against the master succeed.

In the MR, pipelines for gitlab-backup-cli gem are consistently failing (example pipeline and example pipeline job) with:

This job could not start because it could not retrieve the needed artifacts. Learn more about dependencies and common causes of this error.

And probably other issues as there are different pipelines that fail.

Investigate and fix the failure root cause(s).
