SET merge_status query taking longer than usual (-3837852351643424677)

Context

During Database triage, I noticed the the NewMergeRequestWorker has appeared in the top 5 queries by total time. It's in 2nd place this week. This was not the case last week.

Can you please investigate this further? I couldn't find the appropriate gitlab group handle.
