This issue is to track feedback on the experimental release of agentic Chat.

Since this is an experimental feature, your feedback is valuable in helping us improve it.

Please, provide feedback ...

Please, feel free to share anything regarding your experiences, suggestions, or issues. We are particularly interested in these aspects:

• How does the accuracy compare to the existing chat? Does it satisfy you?
• How satisfied are you with the code edits it makes? Tell us what you do.
• Does it find the issues, files, etc. that you are inquiring about? Tell us what you do.
• Any bugs?
• Anything else that you want to tell us?

Known issues:

• We are still working on improving the speed.
• It does not work on newly created local folders or non-GitLab projects.
• It cannot do semantic search.
• It does not support slash commands, multi-threaded conversations, or deleting conversations.

Triage Process:

As feedback is provided to this issue, our team will review every comment and process it as follows:

• The team should ask clarifying questions to further understand the problem when needed
• Once the feedback has been reviewed, it will be acknowledged with the reaction
• Additionally, the feedback will then be classified (via reaction icon) as:
  • A bug 🐛
    • Bugs should be logged under &17774
  • A feature request or functionality gap
    • Feature request should be logged under &18014
  • A point well taken as food for thought, but no clear immediate action will be taken 💭
• Feedback that has been triaged will get its conversation thread resolved.
