Description

Background

A customer has requested the ability to use Confluence Workspace with their self-managed, GitLab instance that uses a self-hosted Confluence instance on atlassian.net. Currently, our product only supports cloud-hosted Confluence instances, creating a gap for customers with self-hosted deployments.

Proposed Solution

Extend the Confluence Workspace integration capabilities to support self-hosted Confluence instances on atlassian.net domains. This would allow GitLab customers with self-hosted instances to benefit from the same integration capabilities as cloud users.
