Improve GitLab Pages Administration Experience

Problem to solve
Gitlab Pages feature configuration is not trivial. I have spent hours to make it working. I think that the default configuration with wildcard domain is not convenient for Gitlab instances on premise, at least in my company, it’s not an option. It would be nice to have facility to enable Gitlab Pages easily for such context.
The current GitLab Pages administration documentation (https://docs.gitlab.com/administration/pages/) needs improvement in structure, clarity, and completeness to better serve administrators setting up and managing GitLab Pages.
Proposal
In conjunction with [Pages] Improve GitLab Pages onboarding (#515953) make substantive improvements to Pages administration documentation to ensure a better onboarding experience. Effectively measure the time spent in the old experience onboarding as compared to the new one for effectiveness.
User Impact
Improving this documentation will:
- Reduce setup time for administrators implementing GitLab Pages
- Lower the number of support requests related to Pages configuration
- Increase adoption of GitLab Pages by making it more accessible
- Enhance security by providing clearer guidance on proper configuration
