The issue comes from the field:

"hostnamectl": {

in the file /opt/gitlab/embedded/nodes/<<hostname>>.json

After removing it, the update process works normally, but this value comes back after each update.
This Gitlab instance is hosted in a LXC container in a Proxmox Virtual Environment.
