Unable to Update sourcegraph/zoekt Version

Background

We've just attempted to update the library version and discovered that several packages were marked as internal in sourcegraph/zoekt#901. As a result, we can no longer use the latest upstream version of the library.

Proposal

We should identify the missing functionality (both what we currently lack and what will be required for #500087 (closed)).

When we have a list, we should add unit tests to ensure that these will remain a part of the "public" API.

• Additionally, we should contact the Zoekt maintainers. I'll leave a comment on the original merge request as a heads-up.
